Clubs and Activities
With your membership at Theory of Play, your child gets access to enriching clubs, community outreach programs, and leadership opportunities designed just for them. These activities open doors to lifelong friendships, essential life skills, and the chance to embody our P.L.A.Y. values, fostering kindness and a strong sense of community. We’re committed to empowering young leaders, and we’re always listening to their ideas. While we offer a variety of established clubs, we also create new opportunities based on the interests of your children, ensuring their voices shape the future of our community.
This is NOT your average book club. This club reads together. Our group leader allows the opportunity to read aloud if you enjoy or they will read to the group. Every group and each session (Fall, Spring, or Summer) may have different preferences. Of course, the story and the many amazing things are discussed but this group loves a good project or activity based experience to top off the fun!
This popular club is geared towards our children 5 – 8. Secretly working on motor skills, children find the power of perseverance as they create amazing works through engaging and themed directed drawing. Afterwards? Decorate them of course!
This group of Drama kids requires ZERO experience! Our highly experienced Elementary Drama Teacher, is sure to bring a once a month showstopper with many activities that inspire and enhance the art of Drama to include; Drama games, musical theater opportunities for those that choose, confidence and so much more! This inclusive class is a mixed age group ranging from KDG – 10 years.
Calling all Lego Masters! Brick by Brick, this club is for all levels of brick builders, ages 7 -10. Weekly, these children meet to complete team challenge builds, creative building and so much more.
Partnering with our local church, Joyful Noise is a club where children worship together and study the word of the lord through play and stories, songs, games and so much more! Using simple practices, children ages 5 – 10 apply these practical moments and lessons in their peer groups, families and community.
Community P.L.A.Y. Kids are children who are 7 – 10 years of age and demonstrate the values of Perseverance, Leadership, Adaptability, and Youth Positivity. Together, they meet to grow together and apply this mission in and around the community.
The Art Club has a love for stretching creative opportunities. This group meets weekly to dig a bit deeper into the T.O.P. artist of the month and explore the limitless art media available not limited to: Clay, Pastels, 3D creations and more! This class is dedicated to children ages 6 – 10
